About:

Originally from Squamish, British Columbia, Canada, I began my career in carpentry early, earning the Carpentry & Joinery Award in high school, graduating top of my class in drafting, and becoming the school’s shop assistant. I was headhunted out of school to begin my apprenticeship under a Master Carpenter, where I spent a year building custom kitchens and bespoke furniture.

From there, I moved on to small remodels in the ski resort town of Whistler and, within a year, was running small crews. I then transitioned into high-end custom home building, learning to construct eight-figure spec homes from the ground up. Over five years, I worked alongside some of the finest craftsmen in the world, gaining experience in log home building, timber frame construction, finish carpentry, concrete, tile and stone, plumbing, electrical, and everything in between.

My path has been anything but ordinary. I spent a couple of years traveling through Asia and Latin America before accepting a position as a groundskeeper at a private salmon fishing and golf resort on a remote island off the coast of British Columbia. That role connected me to the yachting world, where I spent three years working as a deckhand on superyachts and sailing vessels throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean.

Returning to Canada, I built my mom a house and transitioned into commercial and industrial construction. During that time, I completed my Red Seal Carpentry Certification, Journeyman Scaffolder Certification, heavy equipment operator certification, extensive mining training, and AutoCAD training. I worked on large-scale industrial projects in power plants, mines, and oil and gas facilities. After five years, I was offered a Foreman position leading a maintenance crew for Shell Oil, but decided it was time for a change.

In 2018, I took a motorcycle trip down the west coast of America then relocated to Chilean Patagonia to start a sustainable home-building company. I imported an excavator, skid steer, and building equipment. I designed an energy-neutral home and began construction in an old-growth rainforest overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Just before installing the windows, I met a woman from Scottsdale in a local microbrewery who was visiting to hike Patagonia. We spent the following months traveling through Chilean wine country, Arizona wine country, Portuguese wine country, and Spanish wine country. A few months later, I was moving to Arizona.

We bought a home in north central Phoenix, which I completed as a full gut remodel, and later purchased a cabin in Greer, Arizona, which has been the town’s #1 Airbnb rental for the past three years. We spend our holidays in the White Mountains skiing, hiking, kayaking, mushroom foraging, cooking, and enjoying good wine. We share life with our three Labradors and recently welcomed the light of our lives, our daughter Bernadette.

Today, I bring decades of diverse experience—ranging from fine carpentry to true jack-of-all-trades problem solving—paired with the refined touch and professional etiquette shaped by years in luxury hospitality.
